Three Dog Night Honored by the State of Tennessee

The day after their April 17th performance at Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Three Dog Night spent some time at the Tennessee State Capitol.   The legendary American rock band was honored with HJR0597, introduced by Representative Roger Kane, which recognizes Three Dog Night as a dynamic and inspirational musical group and applauds the band’s contributions to America’s cultural landscape.   Prior to the presentation of the Resolution on the floors of both the House and Senate, the band met with Governor Haslam and the First Lady Crissy Haslam as well as Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey and members of the Senate, Speaker of the House Beth Harwell, Speaker Pro Tem Curtis Johnson and Deputy Speaker Steve McDaniel.   They also met with Secretary of State Tre Hargett and tour the Capitol.   During their tour of the capitol the band was surprised by a performance of “Joy To The World” by a children’s choir from Theatre Bug of East...
